Get started with a simple consultation

Begin with an initial consultation

Here's what to expect

During your visit, we will begin by evaluating both you and your infant’s health history to give context to your breastfeeding needs. Next, I will perform an extensive assessment of your infant and their oral cavity. This will be followed by a complete maternal breast examination. Both assessments will aid in the diagnosis of potential feeding complications. We will work together to establish your ideal feeding environment.

This will ensure that both you and the baby are best prepared for comfortable and productive feedings. I will also be conducting a weighted feeding during our visit. This will help to assess the infant’s milk intake and establish if they are making proper growth development. You can expect to receive an individualized plan of care that will include patient goals, educational resources, and follow up information.

With your consent, your OB/Midwife and pediatrician can receive a comprehensive written report summarizing the goals of care, progress made during the visit, and recommendations for treatment. It is my hope that this visit empowers your family with knowledge and helps establish a plan that meets the unique needs of both you and your growing baby.

Your insurance could cover service 100% for up to 6 visits.

Let's begin with an initial consultation

Breastfeeding is a journey, and not a one-size-fits-all journey. You and your baby are both unique, and your journey with feeding your new baby will be consistently changing and evolving. To help you find the right path on your journey and help you accomplish your goals, we must first focus on you first, as the new mom or parent, and ensure you have the resources, confidence, and support to get started on the right foot. To do that, I’ll start your journey with a simple consultation to learn about your background, medical history, pregnancy, and challenges.
